The Bayahibe Rose is found in the Caribbean island Hispaniola, in the Dominican Republic. Its succulent leaves have an elongated shape and are a bright green. The flower is pink and blooms from the end of its branches.  Its fruit is yellow and contain black seeds. The slang name for the Bayahibe Rose is “mata de chele” meaning “money tree”, so called because of the way the plant wraps up its seeds and has the form of money.
I give you Bayahibe Rose in Full Bloom.
