The mecca of carnival, the bacchanal stage, the centre of all things Trinidadian… the Queen’s Park Savannah (or simply called “the Savannah”) is the largest open space in downtown Port of Spain, Trinidad. All of its 3.5km in perimeter is used by local and foreigners to enjoy sport, food, liming, the botanical gardens, historic sights (i.e. the Magnificent Seven group of historic buildings), President’s House, the Zoo and of course Carnival!!
